We believe we have been given an opportunity to partner with Jesus in prayer — to see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in SWLA, our nation, and around the globe.
Partnering With
Jesus in Prayer
The Prayer Room is central to everything we do at Prayer Culture Church. Our vision is to champion a culture of prayer and intentional discipleship in Southwest Louisiana — and we believe that vision begins here, in this room, one hour at a time.
We currently hold meetings four days per week, each one hour in length. Every meeting is an open invitation to come, pray, and encounter the presence of God alongside your brothers and sisters.
We pray local, we pray for the nations, and we believe that sustained, consistent prayer is the foundation upon which everything else at PCC is built. The Prayer Room isn't a program — it's the heartbeat of the church.
Two Prayer Formats
Each of our weekly meetings uses one of two prayer formats, designed to help you connect with God in different ways. Both are open to all — come as you are.
Worship With The Word
We agree with God's heart as we sing the biblical truths of who He is and what His promises are. These sessions are devotional in nature, providing an atmosphere conducive to reading Scripture and entering into personal, contemplative prayer. Come ready to encounter God through His Word and worship.
Intercession
Our intercession meetings are geared toward active, participatory prayer. We pray for local needs, small group needs, and needs across the globe — Pray Local, Pray Small, Pray Global. We encourage everyone to participate and lead out in prayer as they feel led by the Holy Spirit.
You're Invited
to Come Pray
You don't need to be an experienced pray-er to walk through the door. The Prayer Room is a place for anyone who wants to slow down, seek God, and join a community of people who believe prayer changes things.
Every meeting is one hour. Every meeting is open. Come once and see what God does.
Come Encounter God
The Prayer Room meets at Prayer Culture Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. All meetings are free and open to anyone who wants to come.
